Brothers

UX DESIGN/PROTOTYPING/WIREFRAMES/MOBILE

User Experience that increasing product sales.

Brother is widely recognized as a leading name in printer production, but not everyone knows they also create exceptional sewing machines for personal use. These high-quality machines are designed with the same precision and reliability that Brother is known for, making them a great choice for anyone looking to explore their creativity through sewing.

Project Goal:

Boost sewing machine sales by bundling them with popular, well-known printers. It should be easier for users to discover and purchase sewing machines, just as effortlessly as they would a printer.

Problem:

Many users aren’t fully aware that sewing machines are available for sale, and even if they are, the process to buy one is far from simple. It often involves multiple extra steps, like making a phone call to a broker, which can feel outdated and inconvenient.

Solution:

Create a unified system for printers and sewing machines that allows users to make purchases seamlessly, while also identifying the ideal user persona for the system.

User Journey Prototype

A user journey prototype visualizes the step-by-step experience of how a user moves through a product or service, highlighting key touchpoints, actions, and emotions to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.

User Research and Persona Identification

Part of the process involved user research focused on identifying personas. This step is crucial because it helps us understand who we’re designing the unified system for and why. By defining the target users and their needs, goals, and pain points we can create a system that truly resonates with them and solves their specific problems.
